    What is online training?
    Online training refers to the delivery of educational content and instruction via the internet. All of our courses are virtual classes with a live instructor.

    What are the benefits of online training?
    Online training is more convenient. It also provides greater flexibility and accessibility, as it can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection. But, according to our own polls, the biggest benefit is that students feel it is easier to ask questions. Even the most introverted people speak up whenever they want. They feel more engaged.

    Must I leave my camera on?
    No. It is entirely up to you whether you turn on your camera or leave it off.

    How experienced are your instructors?
    Our instructors know the subjects they teach inside and out. They will be able to answer all your questions in class, or find an answer for you afterwards. When they aren’t teaching in class, they are usually working on projects in their respective fields. They keep learning too.

    What makes your training classes better than others?

    How do I register for a class?

    What version of the software do you use?
    Our policy is to use the latest version of the software in each of our training classes.

    What is your retake policy?
    Students may retake the course as many times as they wish for a full year. There is absolutely no fee for this service. Just let us know what dates you prefer and we will take it from there.

    What do I need to know before coming to class?
    Our instructors are patient and considerate. Generally, you won’t feel out of place if you don’t have much experience with a program. It is vitally important, however, that you are comfortable using your computer (using the mouse, opening and saving files, etc.). If you do not have this basic level of familiarity with computers, you may not be able to keep up. Students with insufficient computer skills may be required to observe the class lessons or do their best to keep up without slowing down the rest of the class. These students are welcome to retake the course, at no charge.

    How many students are in each class?
    The average class size is 3–4 people. Once in a while, a course will attract six to eight students, and that’s ok because the instructor can still monitor each student’s progress. Less often, a client will decide to send 15–20 students to a specific course and we make those sessions a private event.

    How far in advance should I register?
    We generally recommend registering as soon as you are certain you want to attend the class. Some classes fill up a couple of weeks in advance of the class, and some are filled months ahead.

    What types of payment do you accept?
    We accept all major credit cards, e-transfers, and cheques. We can accept a purchase order to reserve a registration, but payment must be received at least one week before the class.

    What is your Cancellation policy?
    Plans change, and we can accommodate all reasonable requests. Sometimes there are hard costs involved but where possible we’ll work with you to reduce or avoid them. All requests must be made in writing please.

    Cancellations

    • Cancellations made more than 5 days before a course date qualify for a full refund minus a $35 administration fee per student.

    • Cancellations made less than 5 days before a course do not qualify for a refund but the class may be rescheduled. An administration fee of $35 is charged.

    • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start time are not eligible for a refund and may not be rescheduled.

    • We are not able to offer refunds or rescheduling for no-shows or uncompleted courses.

    Rescheduling

    • There is no charge for rescheduling when you inform us at least 5 days before the course.

    • An administration fee of $35 per person is charged when rescheduling less than 5 days before a course.

    • Student substitutions are free. If you cannot take a course maybe your colleague can. Just let us know.

    • Most of our courses are guaranteed to run and it is rare that classes do not run as scheduled. But we reserve the right to reschedule previously confirmed classes.
